Paihia and Russell are located in the beautiful Bay of Islands in the Northland Region of New Zealand - approx 3-4 hours drive from Auckland. Follow Sate Highway 1 from Auckland through Whangarei to Kawakawa, turn off at Kawakawa onto State Highway 11 and follow signs to Paihia or Russell. A car ferry to Russell departs regularly from Opua. Passenger Ferries to Russell depart from Paihia regularly.

Those who wish to fly can book flights to Kerikeri which is only 20 Minutes drive north of Paihia.
